It's Field Trip time Loyal Scotch Chix Fans! CA Scotch Gent has some work to do in Québec City, and CA Scotch Chick is goin' along. Not only are the CA Scotch Couple about to descend on what is reputed to be one of the best food cities in North America, but their arrival coincides with the 400th anniversary celebrations of the founding of the city.
CA Scotch Chick has been doin' her homework. She has sketched out an itinerary packed with sensuous experiences: from chocolate dipped crème glacée (ice cream) to cream drenched tarte au sucre (maple sugar or syrup pie), from pound packing poutines (french fries with gravy and cheese curds) to heart stopping foie gras. And, of course, one cannot forget the whisky establishments: we've got Field Trips scheduled from a high end cigar bar to a small pub just off the beaten track.
So, grab your guidebooks Ladies and Gentlemen and get ready to join us as your intrepid Scotch Chix take you on a whirlwind tour of Old Québec!
