The Scotch Chix would like to point out that there is nothing inherently wrong with the Glenlivet 12 and the Glennfiddich 12. They are decent whiskys. But in a world of diverse single malts, there just isn't enough flavor in them to entice a girl's palate. Like certain lite beers they are well known and ubiquitous, so the Scotch Chix at least thought they warranted an official tasting. And much like lite beers they come up flat and mundane. CA Scotch Gent said it best when he sampled The Glenlivet 12, "If the glass weren't lower in volume, I wouldn't have known I'd drunk it." Bravo!
