How to do Your Taxes Scotch Chix Style

Well it's that time of year again. Tax Time. And this is the first year the Chix have had to file as an LLC. That's right--Uncle Sam wants the Chix to pony up. So before the Chix got down to business they laid in some supplies. Ordinary Scotch would not do the trick. They needed something strong so DC Scotch Chick decided now would be the time to try that bottle of Springbank 100 she had sampled last summer. The Chix did a little pre-tax tasting and the results were mixed. DC Scotch Chick preferred a couple drops of water added to hers and CA Scotch Chick preferred hers straight up. The 100 Proof has some the distinct Springbank aftertaste but is not nearly as delicious as it's 10 and 15 Year siblings.

After spending 8 long hours looking up and printing Schedules for the IRS DC Scotch Chick (who wasn't even doing the heavy lifting) realized that when doing taxes one should go for quantity not strength. Next year the Chix will know better.

The tasting notes for the Springbank 10 Year 100 Proof are posted below.
