The Perfect Nibble: Roasted Almonds

DC Scotch Chick is busy laying in the supplies for the upcoming tasting. She is anxiously awaiting the arrival of the 4th of July weekend when CA Scotch Chick and Gent will be coming to town. So much to do and so little time. 

The Chix plan a Glenrothes ménage à trois; a little tasting orgy – fruit, almonds, homemade chocolate chip cookies, and single malts; some scotch cooking; and, of course, Field Trips. In addition to a searching for the perfect selection of scotch, DC Scotch Chick is busy collecting ingredients for the chocolate chip cookies (a MUST when CA Scotch Chick and Gent come to town), roasting almonds, and hunting for some Roomano cheese (a Gouda that is aged for up to 6 years).
