Bourbon Babe and Professor Jack

CA Scotch Chick has not always lived in paradise. She has happily made her home in numerous cities in the US and, when she was lucky, Europe. As part of those moves, she even washed up on the shores of a small corner of Southern Illinois for a couple of years.

It was during this time that she and her Scotch Gent were privileged to make the acquaintance of Bourbon Babe and Professor Jack. Bourbon Babe and Professor Jack are everything a Scotch Couple could want in friends. They are incredibly well suited to each other, have wicked senses of humor, and are extraordinarily intelligent. This combination ensures that any evening spent in their presence is a memorable one. 

In addition, Bourbon Babe is the original no sh*^ chick. With her southern drawl, blond hair, model stature, and legs that never end, she can turn any head. After years of CA Scotch Chic toiling away as an attorney, it was Bourbon Babe who taught CA Scotch Chick how to use the lethal combination of brains and beauty to tip the balance in negotiations. 

Alas, there is one aspect of her friends which CA Scotch Chick would change if she could. Because Bourbon Babe and Professor Jack are a couple of southerners they have a penchant for bourbon and American whiskey, served the southern way – in a highball glass filled three quarters of the way with ice and water and then topped off ever so slightly with the alcohol: clear violations of Scotch Chix Rules #1 and #2! 

Despite this fatal flaw, CA Scotch Chick and her Scotch Gent consider Bourbon Babe and Professor Jack to be worthy friends, and they credit this wonderful couple with introducing them to the only exception the Scotch Chix have made to Rule #1: Woodford Reserve Bourbon.
